Energetic Square Dance Recreation for the New Millenium

Squaredown Records is a rapidly growing new company with a vision to create a worldwide competitive square dancing community with a return to squaredancing as an active vibrant recreational activity. This will be accomplished through providing a variety of music and resources that open up square dancing to more individuals professionally, as well as to redefine the activity.

Square dancing is known as 'Modern Western Square Dancing' (MWSD). That which is known as MWSD has very little modern about it and western music has long since died in deference to country, pop, rock'n'roll, techno, etc. Music of all genres for all tracks of life will be provided, as well as the resources to bring new people into the activity quickly, and easily.

Squaredown Records will provide
* A dozen titles per year in each of the featured genres for purchase and download.
* Equipment for enhancing the calling experience
* Packages for fun-dances and recreational activity suggestions
* Resources for dancers to learn and enhance their dancing
* Resources and programming for Callers to enhance their programs

* Networking with other callers who have experienced success and growth in their areas
